Department

Infectious Diseases and Microbiology

Dr. Reinhart’s group is interested in the roles that lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs) play in host/pathogen interactions.  We are interested in the how mucosal LECs might protect from or participate in mucosal infection of different microbes, as well as how LECs respond to those microbes.  More translationally, we are interested in exploring how LECs can be targeted to assist in generating robust and appropriate immune responses as a result of vaccination.
